Default Throttle open 85% at WOT

So today I was trying out my SC 3815 and the data logging tools and what I noticed while driving is that at idle the throttle was open 12% which makes sense but at WOT it was maxing out at 85%. Is this the bull**** torque managment limiting me or does my truck need to be looked at. It drives normal just the same as when I got it. Help would be cool. And go...

Probably torque management kicking in. I've found my truck is faster to 60 at 3/4th throttle than all the way to the floor.

Not sure if you can, if the Superchips software can't pull it via the USB, then probably not. I've never used it since it's not supported with the 4.7, does it store the data after you unplug it? I.E. can you use it, see the data, unplug it, plug it back in later and still see the data? If not, the tuner probably dumps it out of Ram when the power is disconnected.

Wouldn't hurt to clean the throttle body to make sure it's not sticking, especially if you've never done it before on your 03. TM is only supposed to kick in during the actual shift to reduce wear on the tranny/rear...it usually (could be diff on drive-by-wire...dunno) only pulls timing too.

I was having problems upgrading my tuner, so I downloaded Superchips new update software they released a few weeks ago. When you open the program, at the login screen, there is an option that says “Launch Data Acquisition Tool”. When you click on the button, it asks you to choose a folder to save the data to. But I haven’t actually used the DAQ yet, so I’m not quite sure how it actually works.

Yes, the throttle only reads 85% at WOT, but it starts at 5% with the engine off.

Hook up SC to PC via USB click Launch Data Acquisition Tool and choos e a floder all of your data will download into that folder and display like this:

I used this when I got a code to confirm I had a bad O2 sensor...

I am almost certain that the 85 you are getting is a measurement of degrees and not a percentage. Meaning that the tb blade is opening to a position of 85 degrees relative to it being closed. Basically, it is opening as far as it is going to open. It isn't tm kicking on or a dirty tb blade.
