If you have stock manifolds you have to put them behind the cats no matter what...there's no room before and the front o2's are right there.

im assuming that the cut out will still be pretty loud? or will the cat make a big defference?

the cat sorta makes a difference, but not too much, Id say before cause you might get that extra couple decibles out of it... theres a topic in the FAQ i think that has a way to go about setting it up so you dont throw a CEL everytime you open your cutouts... and I had an AT3030 I loved the thing just dont let a monkey with a Stick welder touch your truck... ever.

gp with magnaflow or borla best mufflers out there and sound sick as hell and third would be the AT3030

I would highly recommend the DMH cutout. It comes with a long warranty, I believe it is four years. As far as placement I put mine after the cats and it is still really loud when I get on it. I have tried measuring it's noise level with a db meter on my iPhone and it was around 120 db's (the max on the meter), which is loud.

do u have to tap the part that u drill out to 1/2 inch?
