Get the hood. You can get a cutout for $200 anytime but how often do you find an SRT hood in your color for $400? Not often.

Yeah Ive seen it done in there but I use that little shlef and I can see accidently hitting the switch at the wrong time putting something in there. At least in the little compartment it will be hidden and cant be bumped on by accident.

That is a good spot for hiding switches. That is where I used to hide my switch for the air horns.
