Default System Question

Well I bought an indash screen about a year ago and ended up buying the Clarion vrx785bt. It is an alright radio, but I wish I would have done like y'all said and bought a true in-dash, not a motorized. My mistake, and I think I am paying for it. Had to send it in, got the "White Screen" where the screen shows white and will let you touch by memory to change songs/sources/etc. A month from being out of warranty too! Just letting you know so you would have a story to tell...

And I have a question also. I have two 12" audiobahn aw1251t subs being pushed by a 1600w lanzar vibe amp. I know, sh**ty system haha. Well anyway, I waiting for my radio to come back in to hook it up. I bought a probox for under my back seats. Sealed, I am not sure exactly how much airspace but between .6-.85cf a sub, and the bottom of the magnet touches the slope side of the bottom of the box! No airspace and no room!

I am in med school so I have no money now, stuck with this system so I cannot afford any big purchases. What do you suggest doing or not doing for this system? Do I need to pack the box or not? bridge the subs or not?

Also, I have the stock sound system, not infinity. how do I hook tweets up and where should i put them? thanks ahead of time, Matt

Put the tweets in the headliner...I wrote a DIY a couple of weeks ago on how to do it easily without messing up the headliner.

thats more like it lol well I saw that sometimes packing a small box makes it even worse....and I had them bridged before but I was wondering if the smaller airspace will mess that up?

And I did see your DIY, I was going to try that Im just a little scared of cutting my headliner!

Like I said, if you take your time and tuck the cloth in, it will keep it from sagging. I have had my truck for almost 2 years, and did the install as soon as i got it. No issues at all.
