I am a fosgate man. I have always run RF in everything. I have never had a problem with them, and it seems that their stuff holds its ground damn good. I have gone through plenty of amps in my day, and I have never burned up an amp or blown a sub yet. Most everyone I know runs RF in their cars and trucks, I love the stuff. I do have the skills, but I'm not sure yet, I have thought about taking the box out and using as a diagram for it, but not sure yet...and Raminator, I say we meet halfway, because I'm at the very top of texas, and you are very far away, I'll settle for Dallas. lol

If you want huge bass in a single cab truck you need to sacrifice the front part of your bed, grab a sawzall and go to town, buy 6 12's port them in to your cab via "crawl through" or "blow through" whatever you want to call it and you should have enough bass to cause all kinds internal problems later on in life! Any stereo shop that knows their a-- from a hole in the ground should know how to do it. And if you're really slick you could probably disguise the box in your bed as a counter sunk tool box.

edit: Found exactly what I was looking for to illustrate my point here http://www.customtacos.com/forum/sho...d.php?p=371705
a little more extreme... http://fresnoracing.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=508

Finally, after 20 minutes of searching I found a How-To article or two http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/0511tr_trick_woofer_setup_silverado/index.html

put the new 10" in a box under the middle seat. they sell those enclosures on ebay. that will sound better than both of your 10's in the back because it will be downward facing. and run that with the 500 watt amp and the 1000watt can drive the 2 10"s in the back. thats what i would do. and i have a 07 reg cab too

Wait, amps are expensive at 90? I go big or go home, this new amp will be pushing over 1000 watts constant and thats not even the top out of it. My friend has a center seat box in his q/c, it does sound good, but it just made the seat sit up way higher, and wasn't that comfy to put my arm on when I drove it back from OKC, but I would like to see pics of your set up

lol I havn't even blinked at a 1000 plus for a good amp. if your going with a new RF BD class 1000 watt job you'll be spending around 850 easily. it's worth it tho. I need to do a system in my truck. I'm gonna do two tens prolly mtx 5500's or JL w3's run them on about 1200 rms watts and just beat the block down.
