Default question about tranny noise and some bolt on improvements

First off I was a Ford nut until I drove my father's 2004 ram 1500 with 4.7 v8. Well I paid my dad to get his truck which is mine. Evil son that I am. I do have a question on a noise I hear when it is hot outside. Above 95 degrees the tranny make loud noise during a full thottle takeoff. The noise sounds like aeration from the pump check levels it is ok and the tranny was serivced at 40,000 at the dodge dealer. The noise only happens on hard accelrations and not light throttling.

The other question is what can be done to improve flow and gain some power other than turbo or supercharging. After researching about the 4.7 I am impressed with it. Like Ford I am sure exhaust could be improved along with air intake being resisted some. Any other ideas along with these? Other than that this is sweet dressed up ST ram. I am getting 20 mpg on the freeway and 17 around Phoenix driving. Clean and simple interior and a good looking truck even with dings and scratches. So far I want a line x liner for the bed, and to replace the exhuast and intake to make the engine breath better. So names and links to product would be great start for me. Thanks again fellow ram nuts

Welcome to the forum. My suggestion to you is to start off by using the search function for your intake questions. Those have been answered many, many times. As for the tranny problem I cant diagnose anything from what info you are giving...

Glad to hear you like your new RAM. Welcome to DF. Check the FAQ section for intake and exhaust Q's. I personally like the super 44 on my 4.7...

Should have done that before asking. After reading some ideas, r/r y pipes and exhaust, changing the throttlebody with fastman. But like my superduty I need to get rid of the engine fan for an electric one. I've gained 1.5 mpg after that on f250 and see it might give me up to 2 on my ram Just think 22mpg. Now I just need to win that lotto and get some build money

It might not be the tranny making noise it could be the engine fan. She not running hot on those hot days. It is a thought.
