Over the last month or two I have done some mods to the exterior of my truck. Here is a list of what I have done. I still need to get a set of black side steps and tint the front windows. After that, I will done with the exterior for a while as I start saving for my next performance mods. Also, the truck is dirty in these pics but with the crazy weather around here lately I haven’t been able to keep it clean for more than a few days. Let me know what you guys think of the changes.

• Blacked out the exhaust tips
• Blacked out the front grill
• Blacked out the Ram’s head on the bug guard
• Installed a set of black housing headlights
• Installed a set of Hella 500’s behind the grill
• Debadged the truck
• Removed the chrome door handles
• Color matched the door handles
• Installed a set of LED tails
• Tinted the LED tails black
• Tinted the 3rd tail
• Tinted the amber reflector in the headlights

 

Looks good. You planning on doing anything with the sidebars?

 

I am looking to get someone to trade me a black set for the set I have. Eventually if I can't find someone to trade I am going to paint them but it seems a waste to paint them bc I am sure there is someone out there who would like to have the chrome set.

 

Looks Great!!! I wanted a completely murdered out truck but the deal i got on mine was to good to pass up. Every car i own in the future will be all black

Yes, I am going to tint the front and then do something with the steps. Either trade with someone who has black ones or paint the ones I have.

 

Thanks rh. For the tips I sanded them down with some 320 sandpaper, sprayed them with an adhesion promoter and then painted them with regular black spray paint.

 

ok how hard is it to paint the handles? i want to do them but i got quoted 150 at a shop to do them.
