I was wondering if anyone has had to repair/reseal their front windshield. I noticed about a month ago that my windshield would "flex" when the last door closed and it whistles like crazy on normal A/C. Finally thought it out and found the sealant across the top of my windshield wasn't adhered to the windshield anymore. Never heard of this happening before.

 

thats a new one on me too bro. Have you ever had your windsheild replaced in your truck?

 

Never had the windshield replaced or any major collisions that would torque the body enough to break that seal. I went looking for a repair/installation kit to reinstall it, but the only thing I can find is just the sealant. The service manual calls for brackets and spacers. Does anyone know if there is an install kit?

 

Don't know about a install kit but if it was me I would take it to a glass place and let them reseal it. most places back up their work and it don't usually cost that much. Thats just my .02
