thanks a lot I appreciate it...the reason i ask is because my friend got pulled over for a loud exhaust and he has to go to the dmv and get it tested within 20 days or its a 225 dollar fine if he doesn't or fails it..so hes throwing a stock muffler on and then getting it tested and once he passes hes gonna throw his aftermarket one back on. I also wanted to check mine to see where im at but i don't think i'll get pulled over..i have some connections with my local police anyway

 

What is he running for an exhaust that he got pulled over for it?

 

hes got a SSA Superdual Catback...i'm suprised he didn't get pulled for his HID's which he's running at 12000K lol

 

Where did your friend get pulled over? As far as central CT, the only town that’s really strict from what I have heard from people is Wallingford. I’ve had my cutout on my truck for a year now and have not had a problem yet (knock on wood). Although I try not to get on the gas too much when I see a cop. I have been through quite a bit of CT with my truck, and I’ve gotten a few stares but that’s it.

 

he got pulled over on farmington ave in Berlin near dairy queen...it was around 11:45pm on a Friday night, he was the only one on the road and he was driving a red sports car with dark tints = it was almost bound to happen..i drive all over Berlin everyday and my exhaust is louder than his im pretty sure and I haven't ever been pulled over
