Default tire/wheel size question

I currently have 245/70R17 tires on a 7.5 inch rim width. Would these tires fit properly on an 8 inch wide rim?

they should. Most tire manufacturers have a rim size range listed on their spec sheets. Look it up.

I found the the spec sheet for my tires and it lists the rim width range from 6.5-7.5 inches. [sm=smiley6.gif] Guess i'll need to get some new tires or look for some other rims.

does your truck have stock 17's and is it 4x4 if so you should have 17x8 rims which come from factory with 245/70/17
