Northern Virginia, D.C., Maryland Area...Muddin'/off-roadin' places???? anyone ????
anyone know of any places to go off-roadin, or muddin, in/around these areas. thanks

if your wanting to drive a bit you can the george washington national forest west of harrisonburg virginia on 33 has a ton of off road legal places to wheel. we wheeled there a bunch when we lived in winchester. lots of camping there for free too. also a group out of the DC area called off camber crawlers or OCC is an off roading club that frequently goes "froading" in the virginia and surrounding area. there are also several off road parks in the pa,md, va area too. rausch creek comes to mind but most are suited for the smaller jeep sized vehicles. good luck.

I am not from there and don't have a clue but I've got a couple hunting buddies go to West Virginia every year for some big ATV ride and boast that WV supports the hell out of off-road activities.
I'll be in Ga. in about two weeks and am actually going camping with one or possibly two of the guys who routinely makes that trip. I'll inquire about where they go if I can remember...
