Yeah and a run to the parts store plus i had to deal with that damn upper control arm bolt being to long for my pitman arm puller which probably added another hour too it in total. We just took our time another guy who just installed his leveling kit only took them 3 hours and if you know what your doing it would only take an hour. We did my second side in like 40 minutes.

Give us some feedback on the ride and handling with it on now. I might want to do the same thing. Only mine is the torsion bar deal.

That looks good. I ordered the 2" with Fabtech shocks from Fat Bob's Garage. It came in so I am going to have it installed soon. I do not want to mess with it, and I have a quote of about $150 to install it, plus the alignment for about $70. I figure just let them do it. I just moved and I don't have all of my tools in place, etc!! So, I don't mind ponying up the funds for it.

You cut the tip of the bolt? A run to the auto parts store? Why didnt you just wack the knuckle with a hammer? Thats how you release a balljoint from the knuckle. This is what 9 out of 10 mechanics and dealerships do to release the ball joint bolt from the knuckle, lol. Ive never used a pitman arm puller in my life. If you had given it a good wack or two, on the side of the knucke, the ball joints bolt would of popped right out, vibration releases it. No damage.

It looks really good though. I like the daystar kits alot.

I cant give you feedback on that yet. I still need to get it alligned so right now when i drive its got a bit of a wobble. Other then that seems fine a little stiffer then before but I think that's becuase i went with rough country shocks who are known to be stiff.

Hell i would have paid someone to do it to if i had the money. But being that im in canada and dont have a job right now and the lift and shocks had already run me 350$ I figured I'd just do it myself lol. Damn exchange rate !!!!

We tried that actually with a dead blow and a small sledge didnt seem to be gettin us anywhere. Plus being that we havent really done that much mechanic stuff we have no idea how hard you can hit something without damaging it so I figured it would be best to just get the pitman arm puller and not risk breaking anything lol . Most other guys I talked to on here suggested the pitman arm puller from the begining to it so I didnt think the hammering would actually work lol .
