Default All Leveling kits=reversed struts?

I just instaled my Hell Bent Steel 2.5'' leveling kit on my 08 1500 today. The way this kit is set up you have to turn the strut 180 degrees and reinstall it with the spacer on top. My question is if all the leveling kits are this way?

So noone thinks the way that turning the strut around and putting it at that dackwards angle is going to affect the strut in any way? I know that the presure has to be what is creating some of the lift since I got right at 2 1/2'' of actual lift and the spacer itself is only 1 7/8''.

It just seems to me the strut will not be evenly suported at the top and cause some type of binding in the strut itself.

Nothing is at a different angle. The top of the strut spins on the shaft. The bottom stays the same.

You've got a good looking truck man! I installed a Hell Bent Steel kit awhile back. I had the same question, but from all my research it seems like that rotating the strut is pretty standard. I love the way my truck looks now and I was really happy with the HBS spacer. It was the best-built of all I had seen. Congratulations on a sweet looking truck.
