I cant think of anything that would be different. Obviously the layout might be a smidge different, but welcome to the world of auto mechanics:
Step 1: Take off whatever you're fixing/replacing
Step 2: Put it back on just like it was before, in reverse order.
Nothing came with instructions for this and I'd never seen any writeups about it before so I figured I'd just give it a shot. It never hurts to try...the worst thing that could happen is you learn something.

Im not even sure how Im gonna go after the plugs in that thing, much less lt's.
I x2 the guy above, is the process pretty much the same for the 4.7's? Id imagine so, just with more room to work with. Ill probably never go this far with my ram, just seems pointless on the pre-'08 4.7's......
Thanks man. tighter than the ram?? geeeez. this one was pretty tight. I had to remove two cross braces (aftermarket because of the 6" fabtech lift) and the front driveshaft just to be able to squeeze the old exhaust out of there. Someone did their homework when designing the pre-bent y-pipe because there is NO room for error. tighter than a gnats ... haha i dont think i've heard that before. certainly got the point across!
Wow, you finally got them in, and it only took, what 4-5 months? Well, hopefully there won't be any problems whenever I decide to order mine. But they look really good, and I like that y-pipe. The way you make it sound, I may have to order them sooner than I planned.

haha nah it was only 3 months... the problem was not with moes, the problem was with JetHot. They decided to let their supply of pacesetters go empty before ordering another set. Mine was the first set out on a batch of 50 so there should be zero problems now. I'd expect them within 2 weeks after ordering.
i guess since I have the headers on, that makes me an eligable TOTM candidate... hahaha

Its always worth putting headers on. headers make a tremendous difference in airflow/power. not saying headers would make a 4.7L suddenly super fast by any means, but you would see an improvement. However, because the 4.7L isnt as popular of an engine for upgrades, the aftermarket scene isnt quite as developed. There are significantly fewer choices in headers for the 4.7.

yea ive been checkin around for headers and cant find a "wide" selection and that made me wonder then it must not be worth it. all i can find are shorties from gibson and some other no names brands...i guess ill try it out..thanks for the info
hay btw the bumper on your truck, i wanna get one..this might be stupid but im tryin to look up one but theres like 5 different kinds...what should i look up for that bumper
