I have a 2002 QC/SB 4wd with 5.9L. anyways my question is that when i slow down to say like 25mph or lower and i turn the wheel to either side i hear a humming noise..does anybody know what that is and would it cost alot to fix?
Could be tires...could be wheel bearings. Check to see if your tires are worn funny on the insides or outsides, if they are OK I would put my money on wheel bearings. Does the noise sound like it is from the front?
tires are brand new and have alignment on them and there is no rubbing b/c they are the stock numbers...it kinda sounds more form the back..my dad said it might be the universals but i don't think those would be bad already
Are you feeling any vibes i steering wheel when you do this? Does it continue to hum, or does it just do it during movement? How many miles on the truck?
