I was thinking about that too but you're just reducing total wheel travel.

true, but your gaining ground clearance, so i would say longer shocks.
i cranked my t-bars and gained about 3" and i havnt had any problems, i do some mild offroading and drive down pot-hole infested dirt roads way faster than i should and havnt bottomed out yet.

yeah our 06's are different we cant get longer shocks.......we dont have them! If we got longer bump stops that would cure the problem. I had a 2.5" TGC level kit on and I had bad steering wheel shake even after an alignment and I took it out. I loved how it looked, but I couldn't believe how much it changed the angle of the drive shafts, CV joints, and Tie-Rod ends, seemed like too much stress under there!
