I have and 03 hemi and i had a problem with the dinger for the lamp out keep coming on when i hit the brakes and no light were out so i figured i'd find the specific wire that does just the lamp out and cut that one wire on the dinger but instead i found a box under the dash it's only bout a 1/4" thick and a 2"X2" square it has 3 different plug ins one is a four prong which had a black "ground" and a yellow "memory" and a red "ignition" and those were wired in the other is a 5 prong that had nothing plugged in and a 4 prong super small plug in with nothing plugged in but if i take this little box out even though nothing else but a hot memory and ground is plugged to it my lamp out dinger quits if i plug it back in it starts goin of randomly again when i hit the brakes or gas i have no idea if anybody has some suggestion lol

 

try this, take out the rear tail lights and pull each bulb. chech each socket and see if one looks kinda burnt/charred. i had the same thing and didnt see any bulbs out but then looked harder and saw the a socket kinda looked bent in and burnt. so i stuck a small screwdriver in there to kinda pry out the socket tabs and have never had a problem since. also check the part of the bulb that goes in the socket and see if thats charred at all.

 

Ya what jk360 said. I had the same problem 3 weeks ago but I already new what it was cuz it also happened to me a year ago on a different bulb.
