i hate to say this but.....
The SRT 10 just beat out the lightning for fastest production truck, two exrta cy are not going to make up for the extra bulk of the Ram and the Super chrager.
I love the 5.7 hemi, but a 5.4 super charged engine is just a hell of lot more power in a lighter package, hemis in the Ram are not high Rpm engines that can withstand 4500 to 5000 Rpms.
Any thing with a super charger is going to make more go..

yea that's not really getting worked over at all. lightning is a totally redone 5.4 with a nasty supercharger on top. the hemi had a cam.... o yea and the basics exhaust and CAI and the ford only walked it by a length.
TBH i'd rock a lightning if they came with a stick shift

No it's not...lightning has a blown triton 5.4 which is only 2 valves. Something more comparable to the GT's would be the engine in the blown cobras.
Ford GT (second favorite car and will buy one someday) has fords 5.4L modular V8 (Triton) with a Lysholm twin screw supercharger.
Tritons come in 2,3, and 4 valves

Yes...and the GT is a 4 valver and the lighting isn't which is the point. Huge difference in power and potential between the two.
He he he............I thought this was a Dodge web site.........not a Ford one?
You wouldn't know it, from all this Furd talk lol lol lol.
I'd LOVE one of those STS turbo kits on my Hemi.
Awesome!
