Default front drive shaft help

I have a 2005 CC hemi Dodge 1500 AWD. The front driveshaft comming from the transfer case to the front differential has an issue. The knuckle just past the transfer case is making all kind of racket and the rubber boot is missing. Is this repaiable or do I need to replace the entire shaft? What is the part I am talking about called? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hard to tell without looking at it. is there a u-joint under the boot? If so, then it's repairable.
