I just got my hella 500's off ebay for 57 shipped. Received them today and mounted. Fried a couple fuses but they look awesome and are bright as hell. I'd hate to see what HID's look like.

The HIDs are bright as hell, trust me. But you can't use the HIDs in town, they are WAY too bright. Even though they are pointed right at the ground in front of me, it still spreads out far ahead. I think that I'm gonna have to tint them to lose a little bit of light intensity.

I do, but I went through my photobucket account and erased all the pics and didn't even think that it would delete them off the DIY post i did. I'm gonna try and see if I have back-ups and get together with Hammer so to edit them back in. I just think a DIY is hard to follow without pics.

bought my lights at Walmart or $59

ahh, you welded your brackets??

I found all the pics on my SD card. I'll have to go through and tell Hammer where to post the links in order. It won't be for a couple weeks as he will be away. I'll straighten out my idiocies....lol
