I would totally do that, except won't be able to find a pulley anywhere. guy on here couple weeks ago accidently broke his and could find the damn pulley anywhere. had to buy a whole new pump.

ouch... yeah id suggest goin to a shooting range... leave the pulley at home and blast some evil targets to hell where they belong...

It probably heated up and fused to it??? Just a thought. OR, if you started to pull it off crooked, it will bind so bad it will feel like it's glued on. I would say try and tapping it back on and then using another pulley to try and pull it off. This time with the attitude that it's just not gonna come off and the simple fact that you won't give up on it. That calms me down and usually works for the most part.

Man, that's a low blow! Last two trucks I did anything on for people I was paid in beer. But at least the work was done right!

Oh, and I did weld a guys tailpipe back on his Lincoln a couple weeks ago, a neighbor in his 70's. I just told him I'd grind both sides back to good steel and weld it back on, never set a price, pretty much did it as a favor. Spent a good hour on it and he threw me a $20 when I was done. Woo Hoo!!!

why did u have to take the pulley off??? I have replaced my Power steering pump 3 times now and everytime i bought it from the dealer it came with a new pulley on it.... If you need one i have 3 old ones in the garage still
