I have a 2006 Ram 1500. So I get home from work today, get changed and head back out. When turning from my street on to the main road I started hearing a "knocking" sound from the rear end only when turning left or right. Almost like its hanging up. Its not the "E" brake, i checked....going to the shop on friday for them to look at it. Anyone able to let me know whats up with it??

 

did you change your rear diff lube lately? check the level first.

 

if you have a 1500 it requires a friction modifier without it it could cause chattering
