4.7HO= High Output. it has an upgraded cam i believe

 

As far as I know all 2008 4.7's are flex fuel. I have not seen or read anything to the contrary. There are a lot of differences in the '08 4.7 motor from it's predecessors: heads, exhaust mainfords, intake, cam, tb and it uses 16 spark plugs instead of 8 like the '07 back. It is sometimes refered to as the Semi-Hemi because the combustion chamber the same as the hemi except it is flat on one side. There are several good factual articles on the internet. Do an Internet search for the 'Dodge Ram 2008 4.7L engine' and you will come across them if you are interested.
