Ok...well I bought a Clarion in-dash about a year ago...top of the line, $600+, navi dvd bluetooth ipod etc. from an online place, CarTronixPlus.com or something like that...Factory one year warranty, and guess what? went out a week before a year...lucky me?
Anyway, they were insistent on me sending it to them to be fixed, not clarion...I sent it to Clarion. I get a call today asking why I had been tampering with the radio, the radio had been opened before (the inside)...turns out that the "factory reconditioned" seal was broken...Thats right, it was not only a reconditioned radio, but had been tampered with!
I had been promised that they only sold NEW radios, non-refurbished. I installed it the day of arrival. No tampering here. I guess thats why they wanted me to send it to them not Clarion!
On a better note, I installed some LEDs under the dash, in the cupholder, and on the sides that illuminate the door when opened. Also tinted my tails today. Will post pics tomorrow, i think they look pretty good! Also put in a resistor for a cheap powerwire...Love it!

the web site won't answer emails or phone... and the guy from the factory repair service center said since I got screwed that if the "job was too hard" then he would try and get me the $600 credit and yes, I do want a flatscreen...
Those pioneer flatscreens are pretty cheap and look great, I just installed one in a buddys truck and it looks great, plays your album artwork from your ipod on the screen!
