Window Weatherstrip
Alright, looking for some helpful pointers.
Last Sunday, I had my truck tinted. Usually when the guy tints the windows, he shoves the weatherstripping inside the truck near the windows down so he can further down with the tint. In the past, I've never had a problem pulling the weatherstripping back up, but for some reason I can't pull the weatherstripping back up. I was able to get my driver side rear door back up some how, but all of the other windows I could only get about half way down the length of the window up. It's driving me insane because every time I roll my windows up and down, you can hear the new window film scraping against the rubber weatherstrip. Do you guys have any tips on what to use? I've tried a coat hanger, and some tweezers, but to no avail. I'm at the point where I think I'm going to have to take the fricken door panels off.

When I had my windows tinted the guy did the same thing and the 1st time I let my windows down it sounded awful. I wound up taking it back to the tinter and he pried it up with some kind of flat scraper type tool while spraying a windex type bottle of water on them, never had a problem after that.
I like that much better than me taking my door panels out. I'm going to bring it back up there Monday or Tuesday. Sucks that he lives 30 minutes from me though. I called him today, and he thought I was asking him to help me install the vent visors lmao. I think he'll be a little caught off guard when he realizes I mean fix his **** lol.
It would take 5 minutes a door. Just take the screws off and lift up on the panel until the strip pops back up and push the panel back down. You could have been done by now. The idea above will work also by using a plastic squeegee and some soapy water and lift the strip up also. Its cheaper than an hours worth of gas...

LOL I don't blame you tho, If I had paid this dude to do something then I know Dang well he gonna finish the job. Like ALPHY said tho, it sucks you gotta waste your gas to get him to finish his job.
