im painting my rims!! but I cant decide how I want to do it
I actually got a quote from a powdercoat place in Tx near where I live. They qutoed me $60 a wheel to have them powdercoated. The only catch was I had to get them unmounted and just bring them the wheels, when they were done I had to get them remounted, so I got a spray-in bedliner instead, much less headache, lol
I love #1 but maybe try 1 more PS job. JUST do the spokes in black leaving the inner portion of the wheel with the machine look. Leave the "platform" of the spoke machine finish and just do the spoke from that point down.
I dont have photo shop. I had to get some one to do those for me. any body wanna try what he's thinking of?
Personally, out of those three choices I like the second one. The rims look better with just a little something to break up all the black. If you go all black like in number 3, you kind of lose the depth of the wheel when you look at it. As far as number 1, just not my thing.

i would say #3 but flat black like off road teacher did, the flat black will go better and match your daytona decal & your wing. I am doing the same to my Daytona, all the chrome is just about gone and replaced with flat black pieces (grill, headlites, gas door, emblems shaved, rims in the works.....)
I just found a set of brand new cooper zeon ltz 275/60/20 for $800!! I'm goin to pick them up tuesday! so I should have my new rims and tires mounted before the long weekend!!!
$708 for the set and free shipping...
