Like i've mentioned before, I plan on buying a leveling kit for the ram. I also plan to buy new shocks. So the question is..... what size shocks do i buy?
Maybe ones that will accompany the size of the lift. So if the leveling kit puts up the front 2 inches the shocks should be 2 inches longer. Use the search function. covered many times before...
Bilstein used to have a chart on their website for the exact model needed for the amount of lift on your truck. I've not been on their site in some time, but I'm sure it's still there. By the way, the 5100 series shocks are made specifically for lifted or leveled trucks...
You can also check out topguncustomz.com You can order shocks 1-5" longer then stock. So if you do a 2" level, then you can order shocks that are 2" longer then stock etc.......
or you can buy level kit with the relocate brackets if you want to go the cheap route
'Tis true, but if you got the green, get you a set of Rancho's or Bilstein's, you won't believe how much better the ride quality is over the stock shocks...
