the pcm can't tell that there is less backpressure?

I dont think fuel injected cars need back pressure like carbureted cars. or so i hear. Just a nice tunnel for the exhaust to easily flow through.

+1 on the throttle body spacer being useless.it absolutely does nothing to help you.It's probably the cause of the whole problem
