Factory 20's with spacers???
I have an 02 ram 1500 4x4 with 2.5" leveling kit. I want to get 1.5" spacers for the wheels and run 305/55/20(33x12.50) zeon's. My question is has anyone tried spacers with factory 20's and what size tire did you use?
Spacers are fine. Just remember this... Most spacers that you can buy are NOT hub centric. Hubcentric eliminates the possibilities of lossening lug nuts and centers the wheel exactly as it should, so no vibrations or imbalances occur.
You should be able to run 33's no issue's as you've stated. 06+ rams come factory with 33's. You will want to get fender flares possibly because the tires will be sticking out a little bit. I would see where they are first before spending the cash on flares.
The Zeon's are not that great in mud. If that's your goal, get another tire. The Zeon's are outstanding in water and are road friendly so they will last a while and are super quiet. So, if your gonna be doing any mud driving, I would reccomend a more aggressive pattern. Besides, the jump from the 275/60/20's (33"x11.75") to the 305/55/20 (33.25"x12.5") is like another $450 for a set. At that price you can pick up a set of Toyo's.

Thanks dirtydog I was definately using hub centric!! heard too many horror stories not to. I dont do much off roading and it is more a work truck that I need to look good! I do need good snow and gravel traction, and highway is important also. But thanks for the reply
I just bought some new wheels and took my spacers off. They are hub-centric and are 1.25" thick. I am looking to sell those now if you check the marketplace section.
You will have to cut the stock lugs down about .5" or so.
