Screw My Diff.
Yea I have a LSD, I'm sure of that...but I'm not sure why I have one and I didn't special order it? Louisiana is known for its **** roads, I think the country dealership probably orders most of them like that...
and no no no guys, I am defiantly not off-roading in this truck. I have a CJ on 35s for that! This was a simple trip down the levee, its covered in gravel and I got one dang tire on some dry grass. That should not be a challenge for a pick-up...I bought this truck for the pavement but I didn't know it was THAT limited

Double check that you do infact have the LSD. There are a few simple checks, one is looking for "anti-spin differential" on your build sheet, very likely if you have the factory tow package, or the fun way: do a burnout and see if you leave a one tire mark or a pair of em.
I have heard from some other people that sometimes you have to slightly apply the brake while hitting the gas to get the stock lsd to activate.
You can go to a dirt lot and try peeling out with ALL gas and have someone watch your rear tires to see if they are both spinning and then you can try and power brake it and see if they both spin.
With the Detroit Tru Trac I can get mine to spin 37" mud tires on dry pavement.
Turn the volume DOWN if there are kids (or parents for you youngsters) around because my drunken friend swears.

you know what, I have to do that on my honda atv and have not thought about that for my truck....Got the wife to watch me in the street and yes, I can spin all night and if I touch my brake the other wheel begins to spin....thanks Nitto
Anytime, Glad it worked for you.
Lots of 4x2s have LSD. Many 4x4s don't.
