Post gauge pod help..

Ok so since we are on the subject thanks to silver on the trans temp guage (great job by the way man) I actually have my gauges from my other truck I wanted to put on my 08, The first time they were professionally done. I have an Oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp gauges with a 3 piller pod, now i know how to wire the electrical part. my question is can i splice into the stock sensors and if i can where are these sensors located on the engine. can i access them threw the hood or from the bottom of the truck. I really want to get these up and running and i dont wanna have to pay $400 for someone to else to do it, I would greatly appreciate any help i can get.. also these when I bought them never came with sensors.

Thanks

Heres some pics of the piller and gauges. Not the best of pics, they where from my phone. They light up 7 different colors at night..

i dont see why it would im just splicing the wire from the sensor and adding the wire from my aftermarket gauge all together, i dont see why it cant send the signal to both.

I could see how it could affect what the gauges display. I think that gauges measure the amount of electrical resistance and that determines what it displays (in very simple terms). If you splice something in, you would cause additional resistance. But I could be completely wrong.
