i would say personally

-tint your windows 20%
-line x your bed over the rails
-nerf rails even if you don't use them the ladies will
-custom hitch cover and i do mean custom like mine (certainly not $500 but maybe $100) and then get tint AND Nerf rails
-fire and ice recon backup lights
- billet attena

if you play your cards right for $500 you could buy everything above except the line x for that price OR just the line x.... depends on if you use your bed. anyway I certainly do recommend you tint your windows. you will certainly notice the diffrence in the summer !
