Problem getting Dynolock to work, any ideas?

I installed a Dynolock electric tailgate lock in my truck tonight, and the instructions say to connect the leads to the lime green and tan/orange wires beside the emergency brake pedal. I did this... and nothing.

Anybody have any experience with these or have any thoughts as to what might be wrong?
