Default Tires!!!

I'm looking for a little advice. I am thinking of purchasing some 255/75/17 bfg muds for my 06 ram 1500 quad cab. Are these tires going to look strange as they are pretty narrow. The truck came stock with 245/70's on it so these are a touch bigger. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also if any one has any pics of a 1500 with these tires could they please post them... a visual aid would be very helpful. Oh.. the truck is a 4x4 and is totally stock... just thought o would add that in ....

I still haven't taken my tires in anything, always gets too nice out on the roads before I go driving on them. But they're nice. Just wish that they were a little wider. I think wider would've made them look a littler meaner. But the 275/60R20 tires aren't bad.

I've ordered them for a couple of customers. Pretty decent prices, nothing to outrageous i think. Ordered a 295/45/20 for a Silverrado, those I believe were the Terragrapler's, Looked so sick on the truck.

New member to forum, but have been reading for a year or two. Just mounted ProComp xtreme MT on my 07. 275/60/20. Not cheap ($289/tire) but very impressed. Really impressive in the mud. Most of the time 4x4 is not needed. Actually improved the ride quality on the 20in wheels, and wet weather driving is much better over the dreaded Goodyears. Handles well on highway, and for a mud tire, surprisingly quiet. 2 cents

the zeons are pretty crappy in mud and loose stuff. great on the highway and unbeatable in the rain, but crap in mud and worse on ice.

Cooper Zeons. I couldn't believe the difference with these tires. Anything is better than the wrangler HP's.........
