Default Dealership closing list

I see on allpar.com that listings in pdf format for both the dealerships expected to close and those to remain open is now posted. Interesting reading! I am happy to see that the dealership where I ordered my Ram is to continue to do business.

That is a good read, Two out of the three dealerships in my area are closing. Lucky for me the one I use is staying open.

The dealership here is closing. Too bad all their trucks on hand are average -- not a 4wd or Laramie in the bunch.

I wonder how they decided which dealerships would close. There are several in dinky towns nearby that will stay open while ours gets the ax.

I was told that the stand alone dealerships where the ones being cut. In othere words the one who are strictly dodge or strictly Jeep. I know that, that is how it is shaping up around here.

They also base it off amount of sales. One of the Dodge dealerships near me is is 23rd for most sales in the country. It's right next to Wright Patterson Air force Base.

Our dealership here makes quite a few sales. We have the nice Laramies, and they stock a lot of 2500 and up Rams. Quite a few chassis cabs also. And the population here is about 20,000. So that's not bad for a small town, the amount of new vehicles that they can sell.
