nick, you need to black out the tool box. check my pics i used the bedliner material and i have beat the hell out of it with no scratches simple 50 dollar job.

Looking again, it really doesn't seem to come much closer to the wheels. Your truck looks level in both pictures. And a black toolbox would go well with the rest of your black on the truck.

ive done the exact same thing with 1700 pounds of pavers and my ram took it like a champ. all though i was glad i only had to drive 2 miles

That was defiantly a good sized load. It's always pretty deceiving loading a truck with a lift kit though. Although it didn't squat like a stock Ram would, it is still a 1500 at heart. About how many miles did you have to drive with that payload?

About 5 miles, city traffic. It still had enough power to be the first off the line at a stop light. Without the 4:56 gears it would have been a dog. I also put it in 4WD on the straight take offs, Stop signs, lights....
