they use H1 bulbs. and im almost positive the headlights are NOT smoked. they are a clear lens with black housing. as far as HIDs go they do NOT have near the amount of light districution as a true projector nor reflective housing (stock). HIDs do help a lot and since owning them i wont drive another vehicle without them. be sure to go ahead and install HIDs in your fogs and you will be very very happy with the results. I have 8000k and love them, but a buddy of mine has 6000k and they are better for vision and show up better in rain. and IMO i wouldnt ever buy 10000k because they have very little visability, just color. heres a link of my truck with the HIDs, but the roads wet so theyre actually much brighter than the video shows, but you can see the brightness on my garage door. oh i bought Xentec HIDs and i advise you to not buy those. real sh*tty kit! i ended up getting rid of them a few months later.

you have an 06, so yes you are going to have a flickering problem. your either going to need a cancelor kit or contact this guy about if it will work with your chrysler BUS system. his kits may not need them because theyre high quality, but im not sure. be sure to tell him i sent you guys!

heres his link: http://myworld.ebay.com/white-lite&s...MEFSX:SELLERID

dont be alarmed by his feedback, hes a small guy out of texas and has awesome quality and ship stupid quick. got my stuff from him in like 2 days from texas to south FL

Does anyone know if you can actually use HID’s with aftermarket halogen projectors? All the different brands of lights look pretty much the same, but some say you can use HID’s, some say you can’t, and most don’t say either way. And some say that if you use HID’s, that they can melt the projector lens since HID bulbs are longer than halogen bulbs.
