cheap cool mod you've done to ur truck??
 

looking for some cool cheap easy mods to do next on my 2004 dodge ram...so any idea you got would help thanks...

There are so many! A spray paint can can really change the look of alot of things inside and in the engine bay.

Define cheap. What kind of budget are you looking at for your "cheap mod"?

added an 06 tailgate spoiler to mine. depends on preference though, some dont like em but i do. $50 and i installed it myself.

steal mods off other trucks and put them on yours. that is very cheap to do...jk, thatll get you killed. i say debadging is free and window tint and leveling kits can be done for under $100

is that why you got your grill? bc you know no one would steal it?? haha :D

I would start looking at pictures of everybody else truck, than get ideas from there.

i would say, mudflaps $50, Chrome or black gas door around $20-$60 depending on what kind you get, Custom CAI around $70 maybe less depending on what you get, going outside, looking under your hood noticing there is no engine their and seeing the look on your face... Priceless ;) haha

Painted brake calipers $20 for duplicolor caliper paint kit.

Got me one of them "hobby" easy lift easy down torsion bars, for the tailgate.
Makes the tailgate, weigh next to nothing.
I think it was about $27. Great value and has more than earned it's keep.

You could start with power do a no exhaust str8 pipe like i did. 80-100 bucks.. with the tip. Or a lowes Cold Air Intake ... 8 foot pvc 1. 90degree and 1. 45 degree with some sandpaper and some black paint. i got pics if you need. I used the stock cupling works great sounds great did it for about 20 bucks to finish the Intake and your choice of filters k/n woulud be your best around 35 bucks at Auto zone with 2 mods i got about 40 hp and under 150 bucks. And a grille insert would be nice if you don't have one you can get one for about 65 bucks at autoanything. thats next for me also rear light tint cost me 7 bucks

Level doing the t bar crank is free, window tint, tail tint, New headuint. theres alot of stuff to do. keep checking around the site, you'll find something you'll really like.

I have a sound clip of my exhaust on anothe thread called "What to expect from a $300 exhaust" and ill get a pic of the intake up

Heres a pic of the PVC 1. 45degree. 1. 90degree. 1. 3" Pvc pipe some sandpaper. the color paint of your choice. Put it all together fit it in right where you want it take it back out paint it =) and then throw some stickers on their.. Mine on the pic says K.n but i put a tapout sticker on it... it's cleaner then this =)

swap out your 195 stat for a 180 stat, cooler engine runs better, $6.00 at napa, relocate your iat sensor farther down the intake tube, $11.00 for wiring harness from dodge.

Less i re did the wire it wouldn't reach any farther. It's got a hole in it now.

shop around i got my f/m 40 put on mandrel bent 2.5" out the muff and 3" crome tips for $150 and i know shops round here will do it for $200-$225 thats the reg price at the shop i goto but my buddy owns the place so i got good deal he also told me $300 true duals cats back all new pipe....but dont need that yet other mods needed first.....+1 on the stat also need to do that soon....

I'd definitely go for some kind of cold air intake. I just installed mine this morning and what an awesome difference it made! Better throttle response and sounds really good.
