Question help with planning my 1st lift

i have an 07 QC 1500 (2wd). im making a shopping list right now of components i need to lift the truck and put on some 35x12.5s. im buying these components seperately because it comes out way cheaper than a lift "kit". here's what i've got so far:

3" spindles & 2" coil spacers in the front
3" shackles & 2" blocks in the rear (im keeping the rear high, i like that )

this gives me about a 5" lift + 2.5" lift from the new wheel diameter (im currently on stock 30s with 17s)

are there any other parts i need to add to the list to complete the lift? i'm not sure what the lift limit is before i need to start replacing shocks or brake lines, etc. is there anything im missing? i'd like to complete this lift in one go without any annoying surprises that'll make me keep the truck in pieces while i order something else lol. any help is appreciated

You are doing the same as I did minus the rear blocks. I didnt need anything extra but I did use long zip ties to hold the coil spacer to the spring while I put it all together. Without them the spacer wanted to come off a bit and needed ''adjusting'' when I tried to put it all back together. So thats how I solved that issue. I will tell you something that no one told me when I asked that same Qs as you. After lifting the front, your alignment will be WAY off. Mine was so far off I was tearing up the grass and only doing an idle speed. On the pavement it sounded WAY worse. So I found out later that you need to loosen the locking nut on the tie rod and adjust your tie rods enough so that you can drive it to a shop to have the alignment done.

awesome, good idea using the zip ties, ill make sure i have some handy. i'll also call down to pep boys and see how much an alignment runs so i can take it down right after i get everything put back together.

i read the instructions on some of these 4" lift kits and some say that the master brake lines will need to be replaced, and the 6" lift kits come with new shocks. did you have any issues with having to replace either of these?

Keep in mind the lift spindles do not change anything on the suspension. They only place the tire lower on the spindle. For me it was hard to understand this until I actually seen them side by side. So really the coil spring was the only thing that changed in the suspension system for me and because of that I used the newer shocks that came with the spindles but I can tell you they were the same length as the originals. I did not have to change any brake lines either.
