thanks guys

looks sharp man. Soak it all in cause it wont be long before you'll never get it that clean again
never say never

only thing i did differently to mine was clay bar before i waxed
, i actually did that ,before the last (1st) time i waxed it
i got the truck in feb, waxed it in march, so i didnt bother with the clay bar this time
and i use maguires tech wax, good stuff

Wish my truck had those mirrors.
thanks, i really like them, a lot better than any of the others on the market

Clay bar is like buffing your paint with compound. It strips a very fine layer of clearcoat off to get things smooth again. I strongly reccomend you using Mequires Cleaner wax before using clay bar if at all possible. It does a great job and does all the prep work for a fresh coat of wax. I use it once a year on all my vehicles and apply a coat of wax on every few weeks with quick wax in between. All of my cars feel like butter 12months of the year. Even in the winter!

yep... actually a good buffing will make it shine up as much as it can, the claybar can be used to remove over-spray and surface imperfections... and it proves to be quite useful when the neighborhood vandals(or crazy ex-girlfriends) spray painting your ride with her favorite chosen color. Safety Orange is always my favorite decoritive pick also .

The point is it takes a lot less rubbing a current gen vehicle to get thru the clear than it ever has in the past. Electrostatic paint processes are computer-controlled to spray the "least" amount of paint possible in order to coat it to begin with and your busy rubbing it away with what amounts to a squishy wet rock.

We havn't had much rain but the pollen is ****ing horrible! I spend 2-3 hours on my truck a week washing it, and just hours later it's yellow. All well, i wish i could buff my truck. I'm afraid of the rust i might break through on the wheel wells tho haha
