I just bought a new to me 06 1500 with the Hemi and had a couple questions on tires.Its got the factory tires on it still and they look to be better than half life but a couple of them look like they have met a curb.One back one has a pretty good scuff in the side wall,like deep enough its in the white of the tire.Im planning a trip pulling our camper which is 21 feet and only weighs about 3800 pounds and not sure i trust that tire.If i wasnt gonna pull the camper i would run these till the end with no concerns

My questions are,

Whats a good tire to replace the originals with

And should i go to 10 ply tires or are the Goodyear HP series good enough.

Also whats the cost of these monsters.

the stock goodyears are crap!!! i have the cooper zeon ltzs and they are a great tire with an aggressive look. check the faq section for more info on tires
