Default Change oil?

The change oil message keeps coming up on the DIC. I changed the oil already, fer chrissakes!! How do you turn off that stupid message? I looked through the Owner's manual and cannot find a bloody thing on that.

Turn key to ACC position. Press gas pedal down fully 3 times and then start your truck up.

I thought it was to "ON" but not started, but the press the gas to the floor 3 times within a few seconds is right. Maybe both ways work. I ignore my light - it's programmed to come on every 2500 miles exactly, and the book says 6000 miles. Even if I don't wait til 6000, I'm not doing it every 2500.

Which ever the last position is before you'll start to crank. So yes that would be the "run" position not the ACC.
