Default What is everything i need to know about...

I am thinking i want to put a 2" leveling kit on my 04 2500. I have been looking around the old posts but i really didnt find the answer i needed. I basically want to take a day and do it, and have it done. What is everything i need to take into account when doing this?

Do i need longer front shocks? Who makes a quality leveing kit? This is what i had my eye on.

Thanks, Aaron

Those are fine. Nothing fancy about a level kit for a solid axle truck, just your basic set of coil spacers will do the trick. I'd say strength is an issue on a 3/4 ton truck and as such, I'd personally stay with a name brand and away from ebay stuff...

with 2" on a 2500 the shocks have enough travel to handle all but extreme situations, however, you will find that they will wear faster and require replacement sooner...
