Butch, do you have anything else suspension wise on the front of your truck other than the leveling kit? It seems odd that your angles would be so severe with only a level kit as compared to the other pic of a level kit that was posted. I would have taken it off too if I was you after looking at the angle.

Nope....bone stock. When I installed the tgc level kit I had a beast of a time getting it back in place and connecting the upper arm back to the hub assembly. I had to force it together.....didn's seem right, but like I said after getting it in and getting an alignment, it rode fine and it was perfectly level, but I had the steering wheel woble and driveline vibes, so I removed.

I can't believe that that guys level kit pic looks like my stock. I am curious what his measurements are from the ground. I should start a poll of measurements stock and lifted.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but can someone answer this?

I got a 3" spacer put in (supposedly) and the guy said I needed new shocks. I assume he meant struts (I have an 07) but he definitely said shocks. Mine did not gain near that on the front. Was I lied to or what? Did I not need struts with a spacer?

I never heard of a 3" spacer for the 06-08 I am confused about the whole shock/strut/spring/coil.....whatver they are called. I am confused at how if you put in a spacer AND get longer shocks or whatever, how that does not increase your ride height even more? You are dealing with a spacer that makes the strut thing longer to begin with then adding a longer shock? way confused now???

Butch - I don't have any pics of my truck stock without the level kit install, however I can tell you that the CV axles without the level kit were perfectly parallel to the ground... nearly no angle at all. So when I installed my kit they went to the angle you see in the pics I posted earlier.

just relooking at your stock height pic... that's about what mine looked like without the level kit.

In fact, mine CV axles only looked like your when I had the truck up on the lift and the tires were just hanging there off the ground.

Very strange indeed bro...

is there a chance you somehow turned the shock/level kit forcing it to add more lift? I know on the HBS leveling kit you need to rotate the shock 180 degrees around, but on the TGC you don't. I bet if I turned the shock on my TGC kit it would lift even higher.

I just ordered the Tuff Country 2" Leveling kit for my '07 1500 4X4 QC Big Horn Edition. I hope mine ends up with a better angle than that. Will post back and let you know how it turns out.

I am not sure. I know I took the shocks out one at a time, and I didnt think there was any other way that it would have fit back into the truck? I might be wrong i dont remember exactly. Are you saying that if you rotated the strut assembly a different way? If I remember right I thought there was only one way those 3 bolts would line up on the top? I am not sure. It was last summer when I had it on there. I am temped to try the TGC 2" level kit after seeing your truck angle. I took a jack and lifted my truck 2" from where it is now (stock) and the angle looks fine. There must have been something screwey with how I did it the first time.
