After reading through several threads in this forum, I have noticed that the key trick will show trouble codes in 2003 and 2005 models, but not the 2004. Why
I know I can go to Autozone and get them pulled for free. I'm just curious.

 

do you have a code or are you just wondering why you can't look them up on the dash? I'm honestly not sure why, that's a good question that they would skip a whole model year with something like that.


i've also been able to look up codes on the dashboard with my 02 before
