Default Truck Interior Question

Hey everyone, I have a question for everyone. In my 02 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 on the driver side there is a little hook that is suppose to keep your floor mats in place. Well there other day I was getting in and the darn thing got hung on my pants leg and got ripped out. Perfect rectangle hole in the carpet any ideas on what to do you can see straight down into the floor pan. Thanks

It agree with just covering it up with a mat. To me it wouldnt be that big of a deal.
