Default MDS question?

I have a 2006 1500 hemi, and was wondering what the advantages were to turning off the MDS? Are there any advantages/disadvantages?

See if this gets past PA. ----> "search function"

Lots of info out there. i personally turned it off and will Never turn it back on. i get better shifting(no delays) better MPG's city, no aftermarket catback exhaust pulse annoyance. I get 18mpg's highway on a 91oct tune, same as before turning it off.

I know there are dozens of members here who have turned it off with their tuner. I can't recall anyone ever saying they turned it back on. Should tell ya sumthin'...
