Question Trans Cooling

Alright so quick question, I was told that with the new converter (and upcoming mods) I may need to install a new trans cooler out of a 2500 to help keep the temps down. Now I already have one that came on the truck along with the tow package, it is the larger of the two that are on the 1500's, will this be sufficient? Looking at the one for the 2500 it only looks to add maybe another 2" or so of cooling space. Is it going to make that much of a difference? I know they are a direct bolt on and are fairly cheap, but how much of a difference will it make?

I would think it would be ok but how much more of a bigger one would you plan on getting? I would run it and add a temp gauge on it before the new TC and compare to afterwards and see what you have.

Well I guess the one out of a Dodge Ram 2500 is larger than the one for the 1500 by about 2-2.5" and is a direct bolt in replacement. I was already planning on doing a temp gauge for the trans later down the road but I guess it'll have to be sooner than later.
