Default 02 Ram vibration

hey guys, new to the forum just got my truck and love it. its a quad cab 02' with the 5.9 4x4. however, after getting it, i have found a vibration on the highway over 100km/h (65mp/h) and dont' know what it is. i can feel it in the floorboards as well as the seat, however steering and the steering wheel is good. no vibes at all. still handles fine. the vibration is there regardless of throttle input as well. i cannot hear a whine of any sort from the front or end. i jacked up the front and looked for play in the ball joints. the wheels felt solid shaking the wheel hands at 3 - 9 and 6 - 12. thus far i have gotten the tires balanced but it did not solve the issue. does anyone else have an idea? would a bad rim be able to evade a wheel balance? tires fallling apart? there is no noise that i hear eiher which is whats stumping me.

anything you can think of please let me know. i'm kind of a jeep guy and i know them inside and out, but the rams i'm learning now, so help me out!!!!

thanks

John

My guess is if the vibration can't be felt in the steering wheel it is not coming from the front. If there is no mechanical noise associated with the viberation probably not drive shaft or U joints. Maybe a tire seperation that is not being detected during the tire balancing procedure in the rear. Any of the rear shocks leaking? good luck...
