Yea man I love my 4.7,plenty of power for what i use it for as a daily driver, don't think of it has the slow weak younger brother in the dodge world. It has plenty of get up and go. All in all it is a great truck.

My 08 4.7 has great power, I'm just waiting on Superchips to firm up the transmission

I have an '08 4.7 as well. 310hp ain't bad....I tow a horse trailer also and it is not problem. Recently returned 20mpg on a long trip.

And I got mine for $16K brand new with all of the discounts, half off sticker, etc.

I have some 4.10 gears on order and that should help to liven things up a bit...
